United Cricket League (UCL), a non-profit cricket organization in the US, partnered with Vintiq to build a comprehensive digital platform for managing youth development programs, adult leagues, and women's cricket initiatives.
United Cricket League is a non-profit organization run by parent volunteers, dedicated to promoting cricket across the United States. They operate multiple programs including Youth Hardball (CricOne), Youth Softball (Veedo), Adult Night Cricket & Weekend Leagues (Big Blast), and Women's Cricket. UCL is committed to reaching underprivileged youth and communities while providing world-class cricketing experiences. Their vision includes building dedicated cricket facilities with training pitches and batting cages.
UCL was managing all their programs — youth softball, hardball, adult leagues, and women's cricket — through manual processes, spreadsheets, and fragmented communication channels. Registration was paper-based, scheduling was done via email chains, and there was no way to live-stream matches for families who couldn't attend. The organization needed a unified digital platform that could handle registrations, league management, scheduling, scoring, and community engagement while being accessible to volunteer administrators with varying technical skills.
"Vintiq helped us bring cricket to the digital age. Our platform now serves youth, adults, and women's cricket programs seamlessly, connecting our community like never before."
Vintiq designed and built a comprehensive sports management platform tailored to UCL's unique needs. The solution included an online registration and payment system for all programs (CricOne, Veedo, Big Blast, UCL Women), an automated league scheduling and management system, UCL TV — a live streaming platform integrated with YouTube for broadcasting matches, a community portal with news, updates, and social media integration, a mobile-responsive design for on-field scoring and real-time updates, and a volunteer management system for coordinating parent volunteers.
